Howard Cai Single Origin Tea.

Steeped in tradition, with a history spanning thousands of years, Chinese tea culture embodies the art of tea preparation with the mindfulness of the tea-drinking experience.

Different regions in China produce distinct types of tea. Our very own Lapsong, Oolong, and Danchong teas, each have a unique flavour and character.

In Chinese traditional culture, sharing tea symbolised respect and hospitality, fostering social connections and a sense of harmony. And, elaborate tea ceremonies can still be seen today.

But nowadays, time can be a luxury. Our selection of innovative tea products is designed to meet the demands of the modern world while retaining the quality and tradition of the past.

It begins with the best leaves

Chinese tea harvesting is a meticulous practice rooted in centuries of tradition.

It begins in early spring when skilled harvesters hand-pick the youngest leaves, in regions like Hangzhou, Fujian, and Yunnan.

This careful method is essential for helping cultivate the delicate flavours and aromas of our selection of teas.

Developing the best flavours

After harvesting, the leaves are immediately processed using age-old techniques such as steaming, fermenting or sun-drying, depending on the variety of tea.

These traditional techniques help produce exquisite teas for which China is renowned.
